Optical compensation film, deflection plate using the same, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract |
It is possible to provide an optical compensation film which has an excellent visibility (light leak, hue irregularities, front contrast) and can simultaneously satisfy retardation and a wavelength dispersion property. Moreover, it is possible to provide a deflection plate using the optical compensation film and a liquid crystal display device using the deflection plate to reduce the light leak and improve the hue fluctuation and front contrast. When detecting/measuring a scattered light intensity of a film of 90-degree incident light of a scattered light profile of a goniophotometer at a position of 130 degrees from a light source, the scattered light intensity difference is 0.05 or below between the case when the film is placed on a sample table with the delay phase axis in a horizontal state and the case when the film is placed with the delay phase axis in a vertical state. |
