titleOfInvention | Method for reproducing lightweight aggregate using incinerated flying ash |
abstract | A method for reproducing lightweight aggregate using incinerated flying ash includes uniformly treating and mixing raw materials such as incinerated fly ash, an additive containing aluminosilicate. In addition, water is added into the mixture to pelletize raw nodules with half-dry basis state. Lightweight aggregate then is obtained from the raw nodules through heat treatment process using the rotary kiln. Since the present invention uses the rotary kiln for melting, sintering and solidifying to prepare lightweight aggregate, toxic substances, such as heavy metal, dioxin and polychlorinated dibenzofurans, contained in incinerated flying ash can be decomposed and stabilized in the glassy solidified substance formed by the sintering and melting. By using foamed gas generated from the additive containing aluminosilicate at high temperature, incinerated flying ash can be prepared to form a lightweight aggregate defined small pores therein and capable of being applied in construction engineering. |
