abstract | The invention provides a projector and its starting method. The projector includes a master control unit, a light source driving module, a light source and an imaging unit. The light source is lighted up by the light source driving module for providing an illuminating light beam. The imaging unit can be initialized by the master control unit for converting the illuminating light beam into an image light beam. The starting method of the projector includes: a starting step, an initializing step and a monitoring step. The starting step is employed to start the master control unit for executing a starting execution thread and a monitoring execution thread. The initializing step is employed to initialize the imaging unit after the starting execution thread controls the light source driving module to try lighting up the light source. The monitoring step is provided for the monitoring execution thread to monitor whether the light source driving module generates a successful light-up signal. |
