The present invention provides an anti-glare film mainly disposed on the front face of a display such as LCD, CRT, PDP or the like, wherein the anti-glare film prevents outside light reflections, has a reduced amount of reactive inorganic particle which dissolves or drops off in alkali solution by a saponification treatment, and has an excellent saponification resistance. An anti-glare film comprises a transparent substrate film and an anti-glare layer, the outermost surface of which has a concavo-convex shape, provided on the transparent substrate film, wherein the anti-glare layer has at least one concavo-convex layer which is a cured curable resin composition containing a translucent particle "A" having an average particle diameter from 1 μ m to 10 μ m, the reactive inorganic particle "B" having a reactive functional group "b" on the surface and an average particle diameter from 30 nm to 100 nm and a binder component "C" having a reactive functional group "C" having crosslinking reactivity with the reactive functional group "b", the anti-glare layer has a skin layer having a low number of reactive inorganic particle "B" on an interface of the anti-glare layer which is at the opposite side where the transparent substrate film is provided and in the vicinity thereof, and the transparent substrate film side of the anti-glare layer has a region where the particle "B" uniformly exists in comparison to the particle "B" at the skin layer side. |
