abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical filter whereby the diffraction of light caused in the boundary part of the shading area and the transmission area is inhibited. The optical filter is characterized in that it has a transmission area for transmitting a light of prescribed wavelength and a shading area for shading the light and abutted on the transmission area. On the above-mentioned shading area, alone an arbitrary direction in the plane from a point in contact with the above-mentioned transmission area, a gradient of optical density with respect to the normal direction of the light is provided, and the optical density is the smallest at the point in contact with the above-mentioned transmission area. |
