titleOfInvention | Trisazo compound, ink composition, printing method and colored articles |
abstract | This invention provides a trisazo compound in the form of a free acid represented by the following formula (1): (wherein is a substituted phenyl group on a substituted naphtyl group, R1 is a (C1 to C4) alkyl group which may be substituted by a carboxyl group, R2 is a cyano group; R3 and R4 are respectively independently a hydrogen atom, and a sulpho group; R5 to R10 are respectively independently a hydrogen atom, a sulpho group, a (C1 to C4) alkyl group; the ring having the substituents of R5 to R7 and the ring having the substituents R8 to R10 represent respectively a 1, 4-phenylene ring). The trisazo compound has a high solubility with a solvent having water as a main component, and its high concentration aqueceus solution and an ink composition containing this compound exhibit an excellent stable storage performance over a long period. The figures printed with this ink composition exhibit a high conctitration and the figures printed with the high concentration solution are free from bronzing. The figures also exhibit excellent adhisive strength, strength against light, and ozon gas, and thus the compound of this invention is very useful as a colaring agent for a black color ink. |
