abstract | This invention provides a method for preparing carbonate diester, performed by allowing an alcohol compound to perform an oxidative carbonylation reaction under a condition in presence of carbon monoxide, oxygen, and liquid phase catalytic system so as to form the carbonate diester, wherein the liquid phase catalytic system includes a catalyst, at least one cocatalyst, and at least one ionic liquid composed of cations and anions. The cations of the ionic liquid have nitrogen-containing heterocyclic groups. By utilizing the cocatalyst and the ionic liquid, the method can increase activity of the catalyst to further improve catalytic performance, thereby having effects of enhancing reaction rate and yields. |
