titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal alignment agent and liquid crystal display element |
abstract | The present invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent and a liquid crystal display element, wherein the liquid crystal alignment agent has excellent printability and renders a liquid crystal alignment film having excellent vertical orientation and maintaining the voltage holding ratio while reducing accumulated charges. The liquid crystal alignment agent comprises polymers having structure unit of formula (I-1), wherein P1 is an organic group with four valence, and Q1 is a group with two valence of formula (II-1), wherein, R1 is individually straight, branched or cyclic C1-11 alkyl, or straight, branched or cyclic C4-11 alkenyl. The liquid crystal display element has a liquid crystal alignment film formed from liquid crystal alignment agent. |
