titleOfInvention | Aqueous coating composition, method for producing the same, and two-component curing type aqueous coating material kit |
abstract | Disclosed is an aqueous coating composition having low organic solvent content, which places little burden on the environment. This aqueous coating composition is suppressed in molecular weight increase, gelation, agglomeration and the like, and exhibits excellent storage stability. This aqueous coating composition enables to form a coating film having good water permeability and water resistance. Specifically disclosed is an aqueous coating composition obtained by dispersing a fluorine-containing copolymer (A), which is obtained by solution polymerization, in an aqueous medium. More specifically, the aqueous coating composition contains an aqueous medium and a fluorine-containing copolymer (A) containing a repeating unit (1) of a fluoroolefin, a repeating unit (2) of a vinyl monomer or an allyl monomer, a repeating unit (3) of a vinyl monomer bonded with a hydroxy group or an allyl monomer bonded with a hydroxy group, and a repeating unit (4) of a vinyl monomer or allyl monomer bonded with a carboxyl salt group, wherein the ratio of the repeating unit (4) to the total number of repeating units is not less than 0.4% by mole but less than 4% by mole. The amount of an organic solvent contained in the composition is 0-1% by mass. |
