titleOfInvention Phosphorescent phosphor, fluorescent lamp, phosphorescent display and phosphorescent mold goods
abstract The present invention provides a phosphorescent phosphor, which is excited by UV light, having a strong afterglow, especially a continuous white afterglow with high color purity, after cut off the exciting light. Also provides a fluorescent lamp using the same, a phosphorescent display, and a phosphorescent mold good. The phosphorescent phosphor is made by mixing a first phosphor and a second phosphor, or by adhering them to each other, wherein the first phosphor is at least one of the following phosphor (i), (ii), which have a long time afterglow in the first wavelength region, and the second phosphor is exited by at least part of light emitted by the first phosphor and thus emit light. (i) a magnesium • strontium silicate phosphor, which is a composite oxide with a host composition of Sr, Mg and Si, is coactivated by Eu and Dy. (ii) a strontium • aluminum silicate phosphor, which is a composite oxide with a host composition of Sr, Al and Si, is coactivated by Eu and Dy. Using the above phosphorescent phosphor in fluorescent film to make fluorescent lamp, using it in display areas to make light storing display, containing it in plastics or the like to further molding it into desired shape and thus to make phosphorescent mold goods.
