titleOfInvention | Directional bitts capable of adjusting the shrinking energy |
abstract | A directional bitts capable of adjusting the shrinking energy is appropriately to fabricate in an automobile and the axle on the top of the bitts installs a steering wheel for driver to control. The directional bitts include an outer pipe unit, an axle that is installed on the upper inner pipe, which is at upper part of in the outer pipe unit, a shrinking unit that is installed at the bottom of the outer pipe unit, the lower inner pipe, which the top and the shrinking unit are connected, and a control unit controls the temperature of the shrinking unit. The shrinking unit is composed of two terminals to sustain the heat-shrink component, which is located between the top of the lower inner pipe and the bottom of the upper inner pipe. The control unit measures the weight of the driver and adjusts the heating power transmitted to the heat-shrink component, to change the temperature and further adjust the shrinking intensity of the heat-shrink component. When a bump is happened in an accident, the bumping energy of that the driver strikes against the steering wheel can be absorbed fully by use of the deformation of the heat-shrink component, and the absorbing bumping energy, which is absorbed by the heat-shrink component, can be adjusted depending on the driver's weight. |
