titleOfInvention A making method for extracting collagen peptides from fish scales
abstract The present invention relates to a making method for extracting collagen peptides from fish scales, especially about an enzymatic method. First, the fish scales have to be washed cleanly and gotten rid of salt (phosphate), fat and non-collagen protein by adding acid therein; then, enzymatic decomposition (hydrolysis) of the fish scales is proceeded by being heated and added with enzyme therein for obtaining a liquid solution of light yellow color. After active carbon and a solution for removing offensive smell are added in the liquid solution, the liquid solution continues to be heated for reaching a proper temperature to suppress the activity of the enzyme. Then, the heated hot mixture solution is filtered and is also under the procedure of anion-cation exchange resin to obtain a transparent water solution which contains collagen peptides with high purity, high throughput, low pollution and low average molecular weight.
