abstract A composition of reflective insulating paint, a double insulating paint and method for making thereof are provided. The double insulating paint comprises a porous insulating paint and a reflective insulating paint formed on the porous insulating paint. The reflective insulating paint has a high reflective ratio greater than 96% to visible light and infrared rays, and the porous insulating paint has a low thermal conductivity between of about 0.01 and 0.03 W/m.k. Furthermore, a thermal conductivity of the double insulating paint is between 0.01-0.05 W/m.k.
