titleOfInvention The reinforced material made from superhard carbon film
abstract The invention relates to a reinforced material made from superhard carbon film. A layer or a multi-layer composite of superhard carbon film (amorphous diamond-like carbon film or diamond film) is deposited on single side or double sides of the surface of glass material, polymer material or ceramic material by the film deposition system. This superhard carbon film can eliminate those large micro-cracks on the surface of glass or polymer, and can narrow the depth and width of micro-cracks. Therefore, the centralization of stress can be decreased to meet the purpose of reinforcing the material of glass or high molecule.
