abstract | The purpose of this invention is providing an approach of manufacturing the superabsorbent polymer (SAP) having both high CRC and absorbency under pressure. The method includes the steps described below at least: (1) The monomer including at least 50 mole% of neutralized acrylic acid, initiators and epoxy compounds enter the reactor in succession under the coherent nitrogen; (2) When the fluid at the bottom of the trough reacts and congeals, the sealed mechanism of the bottom is opened promptly and then gel will be extruded downwards by the pneumatic mechanism and the roller; (3) The dropped gel is broken to pieces of which diameter is below 20mm after passing through a porous plate; (4) Drying SAPs from 100 DEG C to 250 DEG C in advance, grind and size them; (5) Coating the surface cross-linking agents with SAPs; (6) Reacting the polymer with the surface cross-linking agents from 80 DEG C to 230 DEG C; (7) Coating the inert inorganic salt powder with SAPs; |
