The light emitting elements are composed of an elongated glass tube capable of emitting ultraviolet light. The elongated glass tube has a major visible light layer coated with fluorescent agents or phosphor powders at its lower circumference and an optical film coating on the upper circumference allowing the passage of long wavelength light and the reflection of short wavelength light.
