abstract | This invention relates to a production method of a monodispersed magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, which is performed by reacting start materials, i.e. alpha phase ferric oxide and long chain organic fatty acids such as oleic acid or linoleic acid at a proper high temperature to produce a long chain organic fatty acid-iron(metal-fatty acid complex), such as oleic acid-iron or linoleic acid-iron, and producing nanoparticles of monodispersed tri-iron tetroxide or gamma phase ferric oxide with different particle sizes through controlling dilution amount of solvents, reaction time and long chain organic fatty acid concentration. |
