Absorbent article |
abstract |
It is intended to provide an absorbent article (1) comprising a cellulose-based hydrophilic fiber, which contains one or more kinds of surfactants selected from the group consisting of a sugar alkyl ether and a sugar fatty acid ester, at a site other than the part (20) to be in contact with the skin. As an example of the site other than the part (20) to be in contact with the skin, an absorber (4) or a second sheet (5) can be cited. The cellulose-based hydrophilic fiber as described above may be contained in a fiber mass (42) constituting the absorber (4) or a coating sheet (44). It is also intended to provide another absorbent article having a fiber layer which contains more than 50% by weight of a synthetic fiber and a synthetic fiber having been treated with the surfactant as described above, wherein the amount of the above-described surfactant employed is more than 0.5 part by weight but not more than 12 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the fiber in the fiber layer. |
