titleOfInvention Organic Light-Emitting Device and its manufacturing method
abstract This invention provided an Organic Light-Emitting Device (OLED) and its manufacturing method. On a transparent substrate, at least one dielectric material with low-refraction index and one transparent conductive material or one dielectric material with high-refraction index is formed through vapor phase deposition, so there is one single-layered type graded-index layer formed on the transparent substrate. One transparent conductive layer is disposed on the graded-index layer as an anode. One organic light-emitting layer is disposed on the transparent conductive layer. Finally, one metallic conductive layer is formed on the organic light-emitting layer as a cathode. Because the refraction indices of the upper and the lower surface of the graded-index layer are individually the same as those of the transparent substrate and the transparent conductive layer, and the refraction indices of the graded-index layer are increased from the refractive index value of the lower surface vertically to approach the refraction index value of the upper surface of the graded-index layer. It is known that the refraction index value of the graded-index layeris a smooth and continuous refraction-index curve, so the interface reflection can be effectively reduced. As a result, the luminance brightness, the luminance efficiency and the service life of this OLED can be increased.
