abstract | To provide a new radiation-sensitive composition for colored layer formation having high sensitivity, excellent in pattern profile and film retention even in low exposure energy, and providing pixels and a black matrix excellent in solvent resistance to various solvents and in adhesion to a substrate. The radiation-sensitive composition for colored layer formation comprises (A) a colorant, (B) an alkali-soluble resin, (C) a polyfunctional monomer and (D) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the alkali-soluble resin (B) comprises a copolymer of (b1) at least one selected from the group consisting of unsaturated carboxylic acids or acid anhydrides thereof and unsaturated phenol compounds, (b2) an N-substituted maleimide, (b3) an unsaturated compound having a tetrahydrofuran skeleton and (b4) an unsaturated compound other than the above components. |
