abstract The present invention provides a waterproof sheet for tunnel, in which a silica-containing surface containing 30~200 mg/cm3 of silica is formed in the range of from the surface of waterproof sheet to depth of 5~30 μm, and the extension strength is 10 MPa or more, the mortar bounding strength is 15N/cm or more, wherein the content of silicon dioxide in the silica is 90 mass% or more. Even though over a long period after construction, large unevenness of the constructed surface, ground subsidence and earthquake occur, the interstice between waterproof sheet and concrete won't be formed, further, the poor state of damage won't occur while construction or after construction, and the waterproof sheet can smoothly prevent the water exuding from land or ground leak to inner of tunnel.
