| abstract | To provide a plane light source apparatus (1) in which a uniform and high luminance can be secured even if a number of light sources (21, 22…) is small. The plane light source apparatus (1) is composed of a plurality of light sources (21, 22, …) arranged with a space (L) each other and deflection structure board (3) which is arranged in front of the light sources (21, 22,…) and changes a direction of lights (F1, F2,…) from the light sources. The deflection structure board (3) emits lights (F1, F2) from both of the light sources (21, 22) toward the front side in a normal direction (a) over a whole surface between the light sources (21, 22) neighboring with each other out of the light sources (21, 22,…). A transmission image display device (4) provided with the above plane light source apparatus (1) arranged on a rear side of a transmission image display part (5) can give a uniform and bright image display. |
