titleOfInvention | Fusion protein of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus as PRRS vaccine |
abstract | The present invention provides a fusion protein, PE-PQAB-K3, of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) for use as a vaccine for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), which comprises Pseudomonas exotoxin domain I (combination domain-transposition domain II), a PQAB structural peptide which comprises the N-terminals of ORF5 and ORF 6 of PRRSV and binds the cell receptors, and a signal code, KDEL-KDEL-KDEL (KDEL3), linking at the carboxyl terminal of the fusion protein. The serum samples obtained from the mice or pigs immunized with the PE-PQAB-K3 fusion protein of the present invention can inhibit the growth and reproduction of PRRSV in MAC-10A cells, and the neutralization titer can reach the range from 16 to 32. |
