titleOfInvention Particulate water absorbing agent including polyacrylic acid (polyacrylate) based water absorbing resin as a principal component, method for production thereof, water-absorbent core and absorbing article in which the particulate water absorbing agent is
abstract This invention provided an new parameter, PPUP (Permeability Potential under Pressure) for the particulate water absorbing agent and control the size dirstribution and the color of the particulate water absorbing agent. According to the method of this invention, the particulate water absorbing agent can meet the following (a)~(c) requirements. (a) PPUP is between 50~100% (b) The Yellow lndex(YI) thereof is 0~10 and the yellow index variation thereof (δ YI) exposed in the environment of 70+/-1 DEG C temperature and 95+/-1% after 14 days is 100~150%. (c) The mass percentage of the the particulate water absorbing agent less than 150μm after sieving by standard sieves is 0-5 mass%, the mass mean size (D50) is 200~550μm and the logarithm standand deviation(σξ) is 0.20~0.40.
