abstract The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polyvinyl alcohol film and more particularly, a method for manufacturing polyvinyl alcohol films with significantly improved properties such as transmittance, polarizing efficiency, and color difference by optimizing thickness deviation and retardation deviation of the film, wherein the casting stability and peeling stability of the film are resulted from pinning in the width direction at a constant speed and efficient remove of water vapor produced by installing a constant pressure suction device on the landing zone of the casting drum, or installing a cleaning roll on the peeling zone of the film, or installing both constant pressure suction device and cleaning roll.
