abstract | A display device includes a light source, an image-gaining processing module, a modulating module and an imager. In this case, the image-gaining processing module produces a gain value depended on an input image signal. The modulating module electrically connects with the image-gaining processing module and the light source, respectively. The modulating module produces a controlling signal depended on the gain value. The controlling signal controls the light source to emit a new light beam and the brightness of the new light beam reduces to 1/gain value. The image-gain processing module produces a new image signal depended on the gain value. The imager electrically connects with the image-gain processing module and receives the new image signal and the light source emits the new light beam to form an image. |
