abstract The object of the present invention is to provide a functional sheet which exhibits a desired action such as healing effect with high efficiency without the restriction by the condition, under which the sheet is used, or the like. The solution of the present invention is a functional sheet (1) in which a photocatalyst powder (10) such as titania (TiO2), tin oxide (SnO), zinc oxide (ZnO), SnO2, ZrO2 or WO3, which is oxidized so as to have a structure wherein a bonding with oxygen is gradually decreased with the increase of the distance from the surface, and a radioactive powder (20) including a natural radioactive material such as thorium (Th), for example, a powder of monazite are supported on a carrier (30) in the form of a sheet composed of a number of fibers entangled with one another, such as a non-woven fabric, in the state wherein they are contacted with each other or they are present in the vicinity of each other, and which has functions of healing effect, relaxation effect, the decomposition or removal of a harmful material, and the like, resulting from the composition of the generation of a radiation and a negative ion, a photocatalyst function and the like.
