titleOfInvention A method for surface improvement of thermal shock resistance and an apparatus
abstract To provides a method of improving the thermal shock resistance of ceramic article. A method of enhancing the thermal shock resistance of surface of ceramic member whose thermal shock resistance is demanded, characterized in that the thermal shock resistance of ceramic member whose thermal shock resistance is demanded is enhanced by forming a uniformly distributed linear dislocation structure on the surface of ceramic member whose thermal shock resistance is demanded with the use of a spray material of microparticles with convexly curved surface of 5 to 200 μm average particle size, whose microparticles has a Vickers hardness (HV) of ≥ 800 being not higher than the hardness of the ceramic member whose thermal shock resistance is demanded.
