| abstract | A PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) data gathering device and its method are provided. The method includes steps of using a data gathering device to plug in the PCI interface of an information process device to be tested, inserting a device select signal (DEVSEL#) and a stop signal (STOP#) into the PCI bus to proceed a retry cycle during a system power-on period, using a micro processing control module to sequentially store every datum latched in PCI bus cycle in a memory module, and lastly displaying every datum that is saved in the memory module by a display module to provide more complete latched data contents. Therefore, the data comparison and bug detection operations of inspectors will be more convenient and efficient. |
