To provide a polyolefin fiber for reinforcing cement giving hydrophlic property to a polyolefin fiber and having excellent adhesive property to cement matrix, which is formed from polypropylene fiber. The surface of the fiber is reformed by oxidation and fluorination, and its wetted index is more than 38 dyn/cm. Bending strength and impact strength of the cement moldings are increased by using the polyolefin fiber for reinforcing cement in executing various mortar and concrete. |
