titleOfInvention Hybrid latch flip-flop
abstract Present invention is related to a hybrid latch flip-flop which is applied to LCD. The hybrid latch flip-flop includes a positive pulse generation unit, a latch flip-flop and a buffer unit. The latch flip-flop further includes a data sampling unit and a data maintain unit. One feature of the present invention is that fewer number of transistors is employed in the hybrid latch flip- flop which gives rise to a low power consumption. Another feature of the present invention is that, by employing the positive pulse generation unit of a double edges triggered type, the data processing capacity of the hybrid latch flip-flop of the present invention may be doubled without changing the clock frequency.
