titleOfInvention Solid-state polymer Zn-air batteries and applications of portable 3C electronic products thereof
abstract In this patent, a new application of solid-state polymer Zn-air battery on portable 3C electronic products is proposed. We propose design battery pack for wireless walkie-talkie by using 4 cells of 1.2 V round-shape solid-state Zn-air cells with the dimension of 3.2 cm (dia.)× 0.5 cm (thickness)× 4 cells, with the working voltage of 4.8 V (1.2V×4=4.8V) and a cell capacity of 4920 mAh (i.e., pack 6 gram of Zn, the Zn capacity density equal to 820 mAh/g). The battery pack will replace the conventional 3 cells of primary alkaline Zn-MnO2 cell with the working voltage of 4.5 V (i.e., 1.5V×3=4.5V) with only the capacity of 1300 mAh. This new power source pack of Zn-air cells will increase the talking time about 3 to 4 times.
