A light dispersing film for a screen has a light transmitting substrate and a plurality of light diffusive structures disposed on the substrate. A light absorbing material at least partially fills cavities between the light diffusive structures. A method of forming a light dispersing film includes providing a light transmitting substrate having a plurality of light diffusive structures disposed thereon and at least partially filling the cavities therebetween with a light absorbing material. |
