abstract The invention provides a laminated body of a color filter substrate having advantage in transportation and storage and protecting the color filter substrate used in a liquid crystal display device, etc. from wound and damage. A color filter substrate is formed with basic components, such as black matrix, a colored layer, a transparent electrode and spacer on the surface of a glass substrate. A protection layer removable from an adhesive layer and a coating layer is provided on the surface of the colored layer side. A plurality of color filter substrates that are provided with protection layers on the surface of the colored layer side, each spaced with a separating body, such as paper or resin film, to avoid the color filter substrates adhering to each other are laminated.
