titleOfInvention Method for estimating frequency offset, and frequency offset correction device utilizing such method
abstract This invention provides a method for correcting the frequency offset among signals received by a plurality of antennas. A frequency offset is estimated in a preamble section by a frequency offset correction unit (110), and digital receiving signal (300) is corrected at/an estimated initial frequency offset, and is also further corrected at a residual frequency signal (324). Receiving signal weight vector signal (312) is computed by receiving signal weight vector computing unit (68) with a LMS algorithm. A frequency offset contained in the corrected receiving signal (326) is also estimated according to a deviation vector or a receiving weight vector signal (312) derived by the LMS algorithm, and the estimated frequency offset is outputted as a residual frequency signal. The corrected receiving signal (326) is weighted with a receiving weight vector signal (312) by a multiplying unit (62), and a synthesized signal (304) is outputted by adding the output of the multiplying unit (62) by the adding unit (64).
