titleOfInvention Apparatus for controlling an electric motor
abstract This invention provides an apparatus for controlling an electric motor. The apparatus contains a speed controlling device (7) for generating a drive command signal according to a differential signal between a speed command signal and a detected speed signal of the speed of motor (1) to control the speed of motor (1) to follow the speed command signal, and a filter (13) inserted in a speed, control loop in series with the speed controlling device (7). The filter (13) has a high frequency region, a low frequency region, and a intermediate frequency region between the high frequency region and the low frequency region, wherein the low frequency region has a gain KL larger than gain KH of the high frequency region, and the filter (13) has a phase delay characteristic such that the phase in the intermediate frequency region is delayed. The speed controlling device (7) has a gain ratio controlling unit (9) for producing and output by multiplying an input with a ratio gain KP. The filter (13) is so set that the phase is delayed in between a resonance frequency and a reversed resonance frequency of a mechanical system.
