abstract The invention pertains to an optical film comprising an upper and a lower substrate layers composed of polymeric resin and an interlayer composed of a polyester resin and BaSO4, wherein at least one of said substrate layers is coated with a UV absorbing agent. The inventive optical film may be used in the reflective sheet for reflecting backlight in liquid crystal displays so as to enhance the brightness performance of the liquid crystal displays.
