abstract |
A film for optical applications comprising (A) a high refractivity hard coat layer having a refractive index of 1.60-1.75 and a thickness of 2-20μm which comprises (a) an acicular tin oxide doped with antimony having an average particle diameter in long axis of 0.05-10μm and an average aspect ratio of 3-100, (b) at least one other metal oxide(s) and c a compound cured by an ionizing radiation and (B) a low refractivity layer having a refractivity index of 1.30-1.45 and a thickness of 40-200nm, the layers (A) and (B) being successively laminated at least on one face of a substrate film. The film effectively prevents light reflection on the surface of image display elements and is excellent in light transmittance, scratch resistance and adhesion between the layers and can be produced at a low cost. |
