titleOfInvention Semiconductor memory device
abstract In the DRAM having data mask function and data line shift redundant function of the invention, the main feature is to have the capability of reducing the number of wiring layers and suppressing the increase of power consumption. For example, when using redundancy to shift the data line in the sensing amplifier write-in circuit 13 connecting the inner data mask line DMN [0] to [15], a structure is formed such that the hiding signal is provided through the shift switch circuit blocks 11a, 11b, and 11c for the sensing amplifier write-in circuit 13 connected to the data mask signal lines DM [0] and [1], which are different from those before the shift; and the hiding signal is provided without going through the shift switch circuit blocks 11a, 11b, and 11c for the sensing amplifier write-in circuit 13 connected to the data mask signal lines DM [0] and [1], which are the same as those before the shift.
