abstract |
Provided are a proton or single ion conductor which has high conductivity and a wide operating temperature range; a process for the production thereof; and electrochemical capacitors made by using the conductor. The conductor comprises both a compound having a structural moiety represented by the general formula (1) and a compound having a structure represented by the general formula (2), wherein X is a group causing protonic dissociation; R1 is a carbon-containing constituent; R2 and R3 are each a carbon-containing constituent or hydrogen; and n ≥ 1. In the conductor, protons can be dissociated from the compound having a structural moiety represented by the general formula (1) and transferred by the action of the =NCOH group of the compound having a structure represented by the general formula (2), so that the conductor can dispense with wetting and exhibits high proton conductivity over a wide temperature range. |
