titleOfInvention | Image display device |
abstract | The invention provides an image display device, which can be applied to the wear type with visible angle of view greater than or approximately close to the angle of view for naked eyes and the next-to-eyes type. The image of 2D array sensor 9 of CCD goes through the processing of image processing device 8 to act as inputted image information to the liquid crystal 2D output device 6. The liquid crystal 2D output device 6 emits light beam from the pixels corresponding to the image of the inputted image information. The light beam goes through the second fish-eye optical system 7 to further become wide-angle diverging light beam diverging from the virtual focus point. Although the diverging light beam deviate as a result of the 3D elliptic reflector 5, the diverging beam is focused on the proximity of the second focus point of the 3D elliptic reflector 5 due to that the optical system is installed to locate the said virtual focus point in proximity of the first focus of the 3D elliptic reflector 5. The lens 2L of left eye for the left eye ball part 1L located around the second focus point makes the wide area image to be projected on the retina in the left eye ball as projected image. |
