abstract | This invention relates to a forming method of various tubular members of aluminum alloy especially for applying in various lamps, building materials and furniture by the utilization of a hydraulic forming machine including: a forming mold, and left and right T-shaped tubes, and generally employing a process including the steps of: placing a hollow aluminum alloy tube in a forming mold comprised of upper and lower molds; fitting the T-shaped tubes in both ends of the forming mold; injecting a hydraulic oil through a hole between the T-shaped tubes of both sides; exhausting surplus hydraulic oil and air from two exhaust holes provided on top and bottom of the forming mold by applying an axial force to push the T-shaped tubes; injecting a compressed high pressure hydraulic oil from two lateral holes of the T-shaped tubes into the hollow aluminum alloy tubular member so as to cause an inner pressure therein to cause expansion and to result in forming; removing the expanded and formed aluminum alloy hollow tubular member from the forming mold so as to complete a hollow aluminum alloy tubular member with appearance of variable and streamline modeling, and finer and smoother in the surface and edges. |
