abstract A packaging body allowing to be surely inspected for foreign matter even when having print layers and a method of inspecting the packaging body for foreign matter, the packaging body wherein contents are filled in a container having an opening part which is closed by a cover material. The packaging body is characterized in that (a) the container can be provided by forming a transparent or semi-transparent resin film, (b) the cover material comprises at least one of an aluminum-based material, resin film, and paper, (c) the print layers are formed on part of the opening side of the cover material or on all formed print layers, and (d) the print layers comprise two or more of colorants formed of pigment and dye.
