abstract | A method for detecting a non-small cell lung cancer by using a sputum sample comprises: (a) adding a methylated sensitive enzyme into a sputum sample for contacting with DNA in the sputum sample; (b) performing a multiple polymerase chain reaction in the sputum sample obtained from Step (a), in which the target of examination is a promoter region of a non-small cell lung cancer-specific gene which has not been sliced by the methylated sensitive enzyme; and (c) determining the degree of methylation of the promoter region of the non-small cell lung cancer-specific gene, thereby identifying the non-small cell lung cancer. |
