titleOfInvention ASMZ-TEDA-impregnated activated carbon
abstract The present invention relates to an activated carbon impregnated with 4~9 wt% of copper carbonate (CuCO3, A) or copper sulfate (CuSO4, 5H2O, A), 2~6 wt% of ammonium molybdate ((NH4)2Mo2O7, M), 5~9 wt% of zinc carbonate (ZnCO3, Z), 0.2~1.0 wt% of silver nitrite (AgNO3, S), 4~8 wt% of TEDA (C6N2H12), 55~70 wt% of ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) to form an absorbent with a high specific surface area and a high porosity for absorbing neurological and blister agents; furthermore, the activated carbon is impregnated with metal salts of copper, silver, molybdenum, and zinc in order to absorb chemical agents such as HCN, CNCl and arsenides.
