abstract |
An organic EL element (200) emits a light including a blue component (B) and a component (A) having a peak at a wavelength of 500 to 600 nm. A red converting member (360) has an excitation spectrum having a peak at a wavelength of 500 to 600 nm. The red converting member (360) converts the blue component (B) into a red component (R) upon receiving the light emitted from the organic EL element (200). Due to the excitation by the component (A) having a peak at a wavelength of 500 to 600 nm, the luminance of the red component (R) increases. Therefore, the white balance of the three colors is improved. Thus, a color emission device (100) having an increased intensity of red light can be provided. |
