This invention relates to a method for making a dielectric ceramic ingredient powder, in which a first additive component containing ytterbium(Y), etc. is diffused into the surface region of basic composition powder containing basic component including BaTiO3, etc., and a second additive component containing barium(Ba), magnisum(Mg), manganese(Mn), silicon(Si), etc. capable of adjust temperature characteristic temperature effect to obtain the dielectric ceramic ingredient powder. After the dielectric ceramic ingredient powder is sintered, the first additive component, diffused into the surface region of the basic composition powder, has an effect of preventing the second additive component from forming a solid solution, and each of the particles of the sintered compact can reliably have a core-shell structure that includes a core containing a second additive component without diffusion and a shell containing second additive component with diffusion. Through the use of the sintered compact containing the above-mentioned composition to form a dielectric ceramic layer, a core-shell structure can exactly realize an increase in electrostatic capacity temperature stability of the stacked ceramic capacitor. |
