titleOfInvention an encoder of TV game synthesis video
abstract A multiple standards encoder of TV game synthesis video, consists of one IC, two crystal oscillators of selective frequency, one variable capacitor, four sets of optional jumper and one analog signal mixer. It can accept the R.G.B signal from TV game and converts it to be compatiable with the specifications of multiple video standards. The IC consists of - A generator of TV frame timing signal, including one inverter combined with crystal and one set of jumper to form the first oscillator to support the frequency of vertical and horizontal syn. signal of multiple video standards. (60 Hz/15734 Hz and 50 Hz/15625 Hz) - A generator of color subcarrier signal, including one inverter combined with crystal and one set of jumper to form the second oscillator to support the frequency of color subcarrier signal the system needs. - A video processor including a ROM that converts R.G.B signal to Y(luminance) and R-Y and B-Y (chrominance) signal, digital modulator of chrominance signal amplitude, and four D/A which converts burst signal, luminance signal, R-Y and B-Y signal to analog signals.
