abstract Amino triazole compounds are disclosed that are substituted with a piperidinyl ring, which are themselves substituted with a heterocyclic ring. These compounds are acidic mammalian chitinase and chitotriosidase inhibitors. Also described are methods of using the compounds to treat asthma reactions caused by allergens and acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, dental diseases, neurological diseases, metabolic diseases, liver diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, and cancer.
