titleOfInvention A controlled porous implant comprising a matrix coated with a bioactive glass or a hybrid material.
abstract The invention relates to an implant material for filling bone defects, bone regeneration, and bone tissue engineering, an implant comprising the material, a method for the manufacture of such an implant, and a method of manufacturing a hybrid material. The implant material of the invention comprises: a bioactive glass (M) based on SiO2 and CaO, optionally containing P2O5 and / or optionally strontium, and biologically absorbable polysaccharides, preferably dextran, hyaluronic acid, agar, chitosan, alginic acid sodium or potassium alginate, galactoman, caragenane, pectin; biodegradable polyesters, preferably polyvinyl alcohol; or a matrix comprising a biodegradable polymer (P) and at least biodegradable polymer (P), selected from biodegradable synthetic polymers, preferably a glycol polyethylene and proteins, preferably gelatin; this matrix has pores in the form of polyhedrons or beads contained within a bead; the beads are between 200 and 800 µm in diameter, including the limits; the difference between the diameter of the smallest or largest bead is greater than 30% relative to the average arithmetic diameter of the interconnections of the pores having the smallest length between 25 µm and 250 µm, including all of the implant beads and limits. The invention is particularly applicable in the medical field.
